Eco Day Care Center in Herastrau Park

Herastrau Day Care Center represents the first project for environmental education, primarily focused on children education towards an environmentalist spirit. Vitalis Consulting will operate as project manager within the project.

At Vitalis Consulting we are dedicated to actively contribute to the environment protection, not only by integrating social and environmental concerns in business operations, but also by trying to give something back to the community.

Our objective within Herastrau Day Care Center is to turn an exhibition building into an “eco” building - a passive building, with minimum carbon dioxide emissions, complying with international standards, to get the project delivered on time, on budget and to meet its aims and objectives. Through our resources and experience gained in construction project management, ingenious solutions will be put to charge so that the objectives aimed are achieved. The center will be equipped with eco friendly supplies, such as system for collecting and cleaning pluvial water, biomass power station, triple insulating windows, solar panels, light collectors, thermal insulation and all paints and products used in construction will also be environmental friendly.
The design and all supplies will be donated by companies active on the local construction market. All team members working at the center and involved in the redevelopment of the concept of "green house" are developing this project free of charge - the expertise and products represent a donation of such associations and companies.
Herastrau Day Care Center is an action that takes place under the motto “The future is growing green” (Viitorul creste Verde) within the framework of “Green Bucharest” (Capitala Verde) project, a project sustained by Green Revolution and Bucharest City Hall.
